You’ve seen this gorgeous face before and it’s time for her big senior shoot! Of course we got rained out for our outdoor portion - I’m learning I need to be patient with this weather…..I’m definitely going to have to leave open dates for reshooting!  But we got some great studio shots and I think even in studio her bubbly personality shines through.  Today is Amy’s 17th birthday so be sure to leave her a comment ;)

Anniversary & Surgery

July 22, 2008 – 4:37 am

Probably not the ideal combination but it is what it is ;) Today is our 10th wedding anniversary (crazy!! Where did the time go) We’ve had an interesting whirlwind of a ‘courtship’ and marriage and I feel so blessed we’ve made it this far! So here’s to another 10+!! And hub is having surgery on his leg today (stripping and re-routing a vein in his leg - owie!) I guess the good thing is he’s home on our actual anniversary which is a rare treat haha!! I’d update with a photo later except my computer is being repaired (typing on phone right now) and I don’t want to gross anyone out!!

Middleburg High School Senior ‘09

Oh.my.goodness.

Amanda and her mom are rock stars - we had quite the adventure for her shoot -{mental note: must wear a watch to sessions so I don’t hold them hostage} haha! Amanda you were great and again such a gem to work with! I hope you got to sleep in a bit on Saturday :) Mom I hope you had a fabulous time at your benefit and thank you so much for being such a help! Thanks again for choosing the studio for your senior experience!

6th birthday coming up

My ‘baby’ is turning 6 - she is so excited to celebrate with her friends at her absolute favorite place Club Libby Lu

She is all girlie girl and dressed herself from head to toe complete with lip gloss {or “lickstip” as she calls it} in the pocket.

16 months and full of energy! Mom and Dad were visiting from South Carolina and scheduled a CA session - Ella has been home with them for just a few months (about 4 months I believe) and she seems so well adjusted!! She did let me hold her and pick her up but I could see she wanted right back to Mom and Dad. Thanks again guys for taking time out of your trip for a session ~ it was so nice to meet you both and I hope you had a safe trip home!

Meet our last senior rep for the ‘09 year Hannah from Fleming Island High School - this girl is an absolute gem with an amazing sense of style.  I met her for the first time doing the prom photos and girlfriend picked out the coolest dress - a girl after my own vintage heart.

Watch our for this girlie - she’ll be playing college softball in a few years I’m sure! She’s one amazing player and it was such a treat to steal her away and get her all dressed up and take her around town (downtown Papillion again ;) ) The hair, the eyes - wowza!! Papillion-LaVista Senior ‘09

You’ve seen this guy before and it was such a pleasure to shoot him again (that always sounds so terrible) We tried to do his session on his birthday (Happy 18th!! everyone leave him a birthday note!) but got rained out so we went out again and had a blast. We were totally breakin’ the law and we were shooting outside this cool building when we noticed the windows were broken so we popped in and took a tour. Fun….but a little freaky…..notes like “I see dead people” and dripping water…… oh and the flying birds that sent my heart in my stomach.  I would love to know what kind of business was in there - 16th & Burt in downtown Omaha - anyone know?

Anyway on to the sneak peeks - Thanks again Irwin - I can’t believe you’re 18 and graduating!! We’ll see you in May on your big day!!
